What is more, the wallpaper cannot be customized in any way. It would be great if you could select the rain drops' speed, size, number, transparency, etc., and if the screensaver also included a few effects to add a bit more variety.

The program sits in your system tray and allows you to pause and exit the program from there. That menu also includes a link to other free animated desktop wallpapers that you can download when you get tired of this one. Fortunately, Animated Rain Desktop Wallpaper is also completely free, so you can use it as long as you want. However, if I had to choose I would definitely select the wallpaper by the same developer with water drops instead of this one.

In short, Animated Rain Desktop Wallpaper is just a simple wallpaper to add some variety to your desktop, which for me isn't very attractive, but you may want to give it a try.
